Matt worked closely with us and our architect, Scott Gillespie, to understand our ideas and goals for our project. he brought his experience and ideas to the table from the very beginning of the design process.  When building a second home and having to work remotely, you need to implicitly trust your contractor and his team to fulfill your vision. Heslin Construction delivered. Little things that make a huge difference are critical. For example, Matt and his team sorted through countless samples of reclaimed barnwood to get the perfect color combination. Matt is budget conscious as well, value engineering throughout the process and putting our priorities first. Matt communicated extremely well and helped guide us through the complex decisions that every homeowner faces. Our project was on time and under budget — what more can you ask for? We would not hesitate to choose Heslin Construction again.

Building a new mountain Home is a big deal. We chose Heslin Construction because we felt their passion and commitment to detail and quality was first and foremost, we also felt the communication between builder and buyer was spot on. They listen extremely well,  their attention to detail was better than we could have expected. They came up with many ideas to help us get our dream mountain home. Heslin Construction truly wants to build you the home you dream of — they did for us. We could not be happier — we spend as much time in our new mountain home as possible. Dreams do come true. They still help us with all of our maintenance needs, or anything else, even if it is just for some outside referrals, they are there for us. He offered cost reduction ideas, as well as, creative design suggestions that helped us get more for our money and made our remodel spectacular. We couldn’t be happier with the job that Matt did for us. He followed through on every detail and truly treated us like we were the most important client he had at all times.
